Living with hypersexuality is like riding a roller coaster that never stops. One moment you're on a high, and the next, you're holding on for dear life. It's a part of my story. I want to share what I've learned along the way and hopefully shed some light on an often misunderstood part of mental health.

Early Signs and Realizations

I first began noticing signs of hypersexuality in my teenage years. It wasn't like a light switch flicking on; more like a dimmer gradually brightening until one day it was impossible to ignore.

  • Teen Years: My interest in anything remotely related to sexuality seemed more intense than those around me. Friends would giggle at typical teenage crushes, but for me, it felt different—almost consuming.

  • Confusion and Curiosity: At first, it seemed like normal curiosity. Then I realized that these feelings were dictating my thoughts more than I wanted them to.

The "aha" moment came when I was scrolling through forums and saw countless others describing the same emotions. Suddenly, I wasn't alone, but it also meant confronting the reality of living with something beyond simple curiosity.
